3 Minute Hero’s members met in high school. The drummer was encouraged to play by his family. The lead singer used to fall asleep with a recordplaying as a child. 3 Minute Hero began playing at the local bar City. The group used to sell their tapes out of their van at the local music store.

3 Minute Hero’s first album did not sell well, but received critical acclaim. The second album was a hit and the band was saved from being released by the record company. 3 Minute Hero was discovered after single was played on X95.1.
3 Minute Hero finally knew they made it as soon as Sandra Nassau started the first fan club for the band in 1997. Initially the band only had a few fans from Cincinnati in the club, but after playing country wide the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.
The band has a love affair with Kansas City so they are sure to stop by and play a show whenever they are touring. 3 Minute Hero appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their newest project as well as the classics.
