About The South Carolina Gamecocks
The South Carolina Gamecocks Men's Basketball team, represents the University of South Carolina in the sport of basketball. In the year 1960 and 1970, the South Carolina Gamecocks earned fame under the tutelage of their head coach Frank McGuire. Frank McGuire was hired in 1964. Since his induction, the Gamecocks have had a glorious run till date. They were the unbeaten champions of the Southeastern Conference in 1970 and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championship in 1971.
