San Antonio only has one professional sport which is The San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. They have been playing since 1973 and have won four NBA Championships. In 2005 San Antonio served as home to the NFL team the New Orleans Saints because of Hurricane Katrina. The Saints moved back to their stadium in 2006 and San Antonio is trying to lure the football team to move there permanently. In 2006 San Antonio made an attempt to move the Florida Marlins from South Florida to the city but the offer was declined.
