About Anaheim

Anaheim has a heterogeneous racial and ethnic composition. Anaheim is founded by fifty German families in 1857 and finally incorporated on February 10, 1870. By the time City has developed into a busy industrial center, producing aircraft parts, electronics and canned fruit. This city is also a site of the popular Disneyland Resort, which was opened in 1955.

The popular Disneyland theme park, which is grouping of theme parks and hotels, was constructed from July 16, 1954 to July 17, 1955. Since then, Anaheim has been a largest tourist attraction in California. During the years, the park has seen many developments, in 2001,

Disney's newly built California Adventure Park was opened to the public, this venture is most expansive project in the history of Theme parks. Anaheim is a home to many distinguished persons including: Gwen Stefani (singer), Loretta Sanchez (U.S. Congresswoman), Carl Karcher (founder, Carl's Jr.), Mark Langston (major league baseball pitcher), Tony Kanal (bassist, "No Doubt"), and Eden Espinosa (actress).

Besides, entertainment there is so much in sports. Citizen of Anaheim are just crazy about sports. On January 3, 2005 Angels Baseball, LP, which is the ownership group for the Anaheim Angels, declared that they would change the name of their famous club to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. This endeavor went through some court hassles but finally resolved in early January 2006.
