The Ring magazine has rated Floyd the number one pound for pound boxer in the world since July 18, 2005. He’s won 6 boxing championships in 5 different weight classes and is currently the WBC welterweight champion.
The Ring Magazine named him Fighter of the Year in 1998 and 2007. He defeated Ricky Hatton at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV in his last fight on December 8, 2007. He also competed on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars’ fifth season; he was the 4th celebrity that was eliminated from competition. Recently, he performed for World Wrestling Entertainment where he competed in a match with Big Show at WrestleMania XXIV.
