This week kicked off with an impressive win by the Indianapolis Colts. They clinched a playoff spot with a 31-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Peyton Manning returned to Manning Classic and completed 29 of 34 attempts for 364 yards and threw three touchdowns. For all the fuss over Marvin Harrison being out it really had no effect on the game. Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark and Dominic Rhodes did plenty of damage. Rhodes did not do much on the ground, but when Peyton is on it matters much less that the Colts have no running game.

Indianapolis was able to make multiple comebacks in this game completing another part of the playoff picture. All that is left is the AFC East and the last wild card spot. I am expecting the Broncos to clinch the West with a win over the struggling Bills. The AFC East will not be decided until Week 17, but I think the Baltimore Ravens can bring the second playoff team to the AFC North.

In the NFC the only division up for grabs still is the NFC North. The Chicago Bears are motivated by revenge after being decimated by the Packers earlier this season, but have to overcome the pressure of playing for the postseason. The Minnesota Vikings have tied their last two weeks to Tavaris Jackson, so suddenly a game lead looks a little shaky, especially with the motivated Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants this week and next.

The battle for both wild card spots has come down to the Tampa Bay Bucs, Atlanta Falcons, and the Dallas Cowboys. I still believe that the Buccaneers and the Falcons will make the playoffs. The combustible locker room situation in Dallas is sure to be too big of a distraction in these next two weeks.
