In case you forgot, will.i.am, a fouding member of Black-Eyed Peas, won an Emmy for basically just dubbing some soft guitar strokes and celebrity over Obama’s momentous “Yes We Can” speech. Well, that was more than a few months ago and the hip hop artist, will.i.am not Obama, has decided he should probably ride somebody else’s coattails.

While Obama is busy running country this summer will.i.am will join his Black-Eyed Peas group members on a ride to millions on the backside of booty shaking Fergie. The group will reconnect after everyone’s attempt to start solo careers. By everyone, I mean Fergie of course.

This will be the first time the will.i.am, api.de.ap, Taboo, and Fergie will be touring North America since 2006 and the first time they will be releasing new material since Monkey Business in 2005.

The tour will commence in early summer and should prove to be the making or breaking of the hip hop quartet. If the four produce a few chart toppers and avoid bingo halls unlike Jessica Simpson, then Fergie might postpone officially disbanding the group. If the album flops, the Duchess, will take her place in music royalty without her three compatriots.
