Bon Jovi may be an America blue collar hero, but man and the band are going to kicking off the 2013 Because We Can – the Tour schedule with eight shows north of the border. From February 13 to April 5, 2013 the group is going to be giving a preview of the 12th full-length original album and first in four years. This makes Bon Jovi tickets for the show dates particularly tempting.
American audiences may just plan a little get away to catch one of the back-to back performances in both Montreal and Toronto. Canada has always been a huge fan of the group and the nation is going to enjoy this rare recognition from the American legends. In fact, Canadian sales actually out-performed the sales from all other countries in the early 1990s. Keep the Faith and These Days with quintuple-platinum and double-platinum performances when the American support system could only muster double-platinum and platinum certification. This Canadian Leg is the first of five for Bon Jovi, with audiences in the United States having to wait until African and European legs are completed to brag about seeing them and HIM live.
This new album and the new world tour follow a third consecutive snub by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. So, with all the band members back from solo projects (lead singer and rock god Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist and part-time actor Richie Sambora, keyboardist and Broadway script writer David Bryan, and drummer Tico “The Hit Man” Torres), Bon Jovi is returning the studio to bring arena rock back again and prove they are still one of the best live performances in the world of rock. Now, if only the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame would admit their genius and give them their place in this Olympus of rock and roll.
